Some very exciting news! On 29 April 2025, we officially launched our new American Friends of London Mozart Players scheme at a very special event in New York City – and we were honoured to have our Royal Patron, His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh, join us for the occasion.

The event took place at Saint Thomas Church on Fifth Avenue, where His Royal Highness warmly welcomed our guests and expressed his gratitude to the Founding American Friends for their support of music and British culture. He also introduced out players, who performed works by Mozart, Elgar, and Mendelssohn, led by our wonderful Leaders Simon Blendis and Ruth Rogers.

After the concert, we had a reception with our guests in Andrew Hall, where we had the chance to celebrate this exciting new chapter for LMP.
